Known primarily for its gambling and entertainment options, Nevada has a solid foundation in the arts, and for several years, the Nevada Arts Council has been steadfast in its effort to preserve and promote art, as well as make it more accessible to all residents.
Their efforts are paying off. Through 2012, labor market indicators point to huge increases in job opportunities for artists. Gains will be most significant for fine artists, graphic designers, general artists and designers, set/exhibit designers, photographers, interior designers, and multimedia artists - all surpassing 40% growth.
