The Nebraska Arts Council claims that $34.9 million is funneled into the economy through non-profit arts organizations in the state, dramatically illustrating the impact, and importance, of art in the Cornhusker State.

Job opportunities look good for artists through 2012, with significant increases forecasted for graphic designers, interior designers, fine artists, and floral designers, among other art-related positions.
